At the heart of the Byrd and Bear 5k is a passionate community dedicated to shining a light on autism awareness. Born from a shared vision in 2022, our event has quickly grown into a beacon of hope and unity.
Our mission is simple: to bring people together in support of a brighter future for those on the autism spectrum. Through every step, sprint, and cheer, we're making a difference—one race at a time. Join us in our journey towards understanding, acceptance, and celebration.
Run information
When & where?
- The run will be help on April 6, 2024 at 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. Packet pick-up starts at 9 am
- The run will be located at 2659 Sandy Plains Rd Tryon, NC US 28782
- Award ceremony will begin after the conclusion of the race
Registration?
- Registration price: $25.00 Race Fee + $2.50 SignUp Fee
- Fee increases to $30.00 after January 1, 2024 at 12:01am EST
REGISTRATION INCLUDES:
- Byrd & Bear 5k run T-shirt (register by March 15th to receive a race T-shirt)
- Packet with all of your information
- Runner's number
- A lot of fun while raising awareness!
